Feedback:
I'd be more likely to return next year if we could set up and have our sale on Thursday
with the option of coming back on Saturday. I think most people were done garage
sailing by time we had our Saturday sale.
I didn't register because I wasn't sure if I would be able to host a table at the Community
Center until the last minute. The three of us at the CC discussed the one-day Flea
Market Style sale to be on Thursday instead of Saturday in the future. The high traffic
incentive to put effort into packing a car and hauling "stuff" to another location seems
more attractive on Thursdays. Elim Church changed to "Free" on Saturday, that's hard to
compete with. It was fun, even with the downpour, and most shoppers who chit-
chatted were from Minneapolis. Many "drive by lookers" without stopping. ~ Bee

Every day we had customers. Thursday was just nonstop though! Big day. I told
everyone who came by about the map, Community Center, and Elim Church
Post City wide garage sale signs on main roads Sunday or Monday the week of the sale
Didn’t seem to be as many shoppers this year.
SELLER PERSPECTIVE - We should have spent more time going through things and having
more to offer buyers. The map was very helpful and we had people continually - all 3
days.
It's good to not have people's names associated with the addresses as in the previous
year. From a safety standpoint, I liked that.
SHOPPER PERSPECTIVE - The map was very helpful and we could see where to go. There
were some places that seemed too far away for going to only one sale, so we didn't go
to those. We also saw many sales that were not on the map. It would be helpful if
everyone used it because then we might have gone to them had we known what was at
them.
We found some GREAT deals and were so grateful for the people who were selling and
marked things so low or free. It really helps people who are on a budget and need to
save money, yet need some essential items.
I was really looking forward to the sale on Saturday at the community center and was
surprised at how few people participated. It may be helpful to have people register for
that as well so we know how many sellers will be there and what they are selling
Many of the folks who stopped at our sale said that the map did not work for them
and/or it should have been available earlier.

June 1 is a bad weekend in my opinion. Bone Lake Garage Sale was always in April,
good attendance and first sales of the year. May would be better. Need to open at 8am.

It was great!
I agree with our discussion that those of us that do the one day at the community center would
have the most shoppers on the first day of the sale. I asked all the shoppers after we talked and
they all agree as well. (Saturday only at the Community Center parking lot.)
Comments from phone call feedback responses –
They participated all three days, shoppers arrived between 8:30 and 9 a.m., well over 100
shoppers. Shoppers continued right up to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Very successful sale.
