1. Describe your knowledge of and experience with road construction and maintenance.
I have been employed with the City of Stillwater for over 15 years. I have extensive experience
in road maintenance and construction. This includes blacktopping, crack filling, snowplowing,
and repairs relating to sanitary and storm sewer mains. As the lead staff in the sewer

In my 15 years with the City of Experience, I have experience operating the following pieces of
heavy equipment: tractor backhoe, excavator, vactor, televising equipment for sanitary and
storm sewers, front end loader, single and tandem axle dump trucks, skid steer, one ton dump
trucks, grader, and forklift. I have experience using the above equipment while working on
parks projects, snow plowing and street and sanitary projects. My primary experience is with
using the vactor, televising equipment, tractor backhoe and skid steer for sanitary and storm
water repairs such as sewer main breaks, catch basin repairs, cleaning and inspection of sewer

3. Describe your knowledge of and experience with building and grounds maintenance.
Early in my career with the City of Stillwater, I was assigned to the parks department. I was

maintenance and cleaning and maintenance of public facilities. I am currently working on
developing a maintenance and repair plan for our public works facility. It will include weekly

I have assisted the street and parks department with developing asset management plans. My
primary experience with infrastructure policies has been with sewer system. I have experience
in developing our Cartegraph database program in order to help the city access all the
maintenance needs within our sanitary and storm water system. This database allows us to
track all cleaning, inspection and televising records for our whole sewer system. It also helps
us decide how to assess our needs and create efficient and long term solutions for inflow and
infiltration issues within the sanitary system. I am proficient in utilizing this system to navigate
our sewer and sanitary systems and respond decisively to any concerns. I have expertise in
using GIS mapping programs along with Cartegraph to appropriately map the city sewer
system. I have also worked with contractors to develop and troubleshoot our SCADA system
for the sanitary sewer system.
5. Describe your knowledge of and experience with subsurface sewage treatment systems or water

right to know, emergency action plans, work place violence, defensive driving, tree trimming,
proper lifting, PPE, traffic control, load securement, trenching, OSHA inspections, confined
space and lockout/tag-out. I have also developed an inspection program for the sewer
department. That includes inspections of all safety harnesses, pneumatic plugs, cranes and
safety issues around all lift stations. I train all new employees regarding the importance and

within the department. Currently, I am developing training material related to managing and
maintaining all 13 lift stations in order to more efficiently train new employees and ensure that
all lift stations receive needed and appropriate maintenance and repairs. I was the Vice
Chairman for the Planning Commission in Richmond Township. I assisted with development
and implementation of the City's comprehensive plan, monthly meetings agendas, ordinance
changes, and variance requests. I also worked the Town Board to address the needs of the
