The upcoming seasonable weather will really help push root growth in the coming weeks. Liten and Hay Lake Park Signs The new park signs have been ordered and will be installed once delivered. The Liten Park sign will be installed first along with mowing of the trail and installation of a picnic table or bench. Park Projects Public Works is proposing to move forward with the hockey rink board replacement this year in lieu of next year due to the availability of used board systems. Cost associated for an all new system have jumped considerably over the past 2+ years and the decision to move forward with a use with new paneling will fit into our budgeted use of funds. By this meeting the City Council will have heard the proposal and made a decision on proceeding or not this season. Public Works is also working on scope of work and costs related to the tennis/pickleball courts. Contact has been made with other metro City’s which are currently completed similar projects to compare current construction costs to what we will be able to accomplish with the budgeted funds for 2024.
