6.c 2024 Button Instructions2024 Vinterfest Button Design Contest
The 2024 Vinterfest Button will be designed by the Scandia Elementary 6th Grade.
Theme: For this year’s contest, your design can be about Vinterfest or Scandia.
Size: The actual finished size will be 2 7/8” with 5/8” of the circle’s outer edges wrapping
around the button edge. Please use a 4” circle with the instructions on page 2, we will
shrink your artwork to fit proportionately on the smaller button.
Artwork: Acceptable media: colored pencils, markers, or paints. Finished artwork must
be dark enough to scan for button graphics. You must follow all directions or your
entry will be disqualified!

Give your Entry Form & button design to your teacher by Monday, November 27, 2023.
Judging by the Scandia Parks and Recreation Committee will be during their December 4,
2023 meeting. Winners will be announced and prizes presented at Vinterfest after the
snow sculpture prizes are presented on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
