In this discussion, we (CMSCWD) will present baseline results from 2022/23 lakeshore monitoring efforts on 5 of Scandia’s lakes (Big Marine, Goose, Fish, Sand, & Hay) and share our experience coalition building, public and landowner engagement actions, rule enforcement & updates, and improvement opportunities heading into 2024. We recommend you consider watching a new informational published by the Lower St. Croix Watershed Partnership that orients community leaders & local decision -makers to some of the lakeshore planning and ordinance update tools, practices, and opportunities available to the Scandia community.
