The applicant is requesting approval of an after-the-fact variance from the ordinary high-water
setback of a recreational development lake an accessory structure and an impervious surface (fire
pit).
The Planning Commission tabled the application at the July 2, 2024, meeting so that input from
the Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District could be reviewed as part of the consideration
for the variance.
The applicant requested that their application be pulled from the July meeting of the Watershed
and the August meeting of the City’s Planning Commission as they are currently working with a
surveyor and the Watershed to address some of the issues on the site.
Staff anticipates the application being placed on the September 3, 2024, Planning Commission
meeting.
