I attended the City Council meeting for Ryan last month.
They are OK with taking the $25 from our Vinterfest budget to pay for the button first place prize.
I informed them we will have a Kubb competition at the T -ball field. I also said we haven't heard from
fishing or snowmobile and assumed they wouldn't join.
Mayor Simonson wouldn't commit to being the Sami elder yet. He will make up his mind later.
I mentioned the $2000 for our proposed summer program. They were not going to make an
immediate decision. We will put it in our budget request and see what happens.
mentioned our contingency plan for the ice if it gets warm at Vinterfest. If it gets warm, we will close
the rink the Thursday before the contest. If necessary, they will continue on Sunday.
Mayor mentioned the rink started getting slushy at the lines we put in the rink. I asked Corey if he
wanted to take the chance of the lines melting the ice. He agreed to not put the lines in.
