Background
Public Works has previously hired two Seasonal Plow Operators for the clearing of snow from roads and
parking lots. Public Works plans to continue staffing two operators. One position remains to be filled for the
season.
Issue
Should the City approve to fill the second open on-call plow operator position.
Fiscal Impact
This position has been budgeted for in the 2024-2025 budgets at $18.00/hour.
Recommendation for Consent
Staff recommends to hire Greg Vandershagen for the 2024-2025 seasonal on-call plow operator at a pay rate
of $18.00/hour.
