RESOLUTION NO. 11-19-24-01
CERTIFY UNPAID CHARGES FOR BIG MARINE COMMUNITY
SEWAGE TREATMENT
FOR COLLECTION WITH PROPERTY TAXES
WHEREAS, the City of Scandia operates, maintains and administers a Community Sewage
Treatment System constructed with “201” grant assistance in the City of Scandia; and
WHEREAS, the users of the system are required by Ordinance No. 202 to pay connection
charges and user charges to offset expenditure incurred for the administration, annual operation,
maintenance and equipment replacement of the system; and
WHEREAS, the following users have failed to pay user fees due and payable by October 15,
2024:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SCANDIA, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the amounts due and
owing from each user shall be certified to the Washington County Auditor for inclusion and payment
with the user’s 2025 real estate tax statement, and to the amount owing shall be added interest at the
rate of 12% per annum from the date of this resolution until December 20, 2024.
