Background:
Colleen, Brenda, and I interviewed five candidates for the open Treasurer position on Monday
and Tuesday of this week. I will present a candidate for hire at Tuesday’s meeting.
After the interviews, I considered three candidates. All passed the background check, and the
position was offered to Veronica Korby. The starting wage will be $24.61 per hour, at Step two
of the City’s wage scale and within the $20.00 to $26.00 posting range. She can start on
Monday, January 29, 2025.
