I am excited about the opportunity to serve on the Economic
Development Committee for the City of Scandia. As a long-time
professional with extensive experience in operations management,
business systems, and vendor relations, I am eager to apply my
expertise to support the economic growth and strategic planning of
our community. My background in streamlining operations, managing
risk, and implementing technology-driven improvements aligns well
with the committee’s objectives in fostering sustainable economic
development.
List any of your special interests, activities or hobbies which you have that would apply to this committee:
As a parent, I am deeply invested in making Scandia a great place
for families. I understand the needs of young families and would
bring a valuable perspective on economic initiatives that support
community development. I enjoy photography and understand the
power of visual storytelling in promoting local businesses, tourism,
and community events. Strong marketing and branding efforts are
essential for economic growth and business success.
In what volunteer activities have you participated? What was your role?
When my oldest son was younger, I served as Assistant Pack
Master and Den Leader. I helped organize activities, mentor young
scouts, and promote leadership and community involvement. I am
currently the PTA President for Scandia Preschool.
