NOTICE OF SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING TO CONDUCT SITE VISITS
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Scandia,
Washington County, Minnesota, will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 1, 2025,
beginning at 6:10 p.m. to visit the sites and gather information concerning the following
requests that will come before the Commission at its April 1, 2025 regular meeting:
• Variance from the setback of the Ordinary High-Water Level of a Recreational Lake to
construct a deck
Site Visit Location: 23261 Lofton Court North

• Amendment to the City’s Unified Development Code to expand standards and uses of
Golf Courses, Driving Ranges, and Clubhouse and an Amendment to the existing
Conditional Use Permit for Ironwood Golf Range
Site Visit Location: 11480 Scandia Trail North
Applicant: Kevin Nickelson
On-site at 6:30 p.m.
This is an official Planning Commission meeting and is therefore open to the public. The
Planning Commissioners will meet at the site visit locations. Owners, applicants, and interested
parties are also invited to meet at the sites.
