Bolton & Menk has completed the 2025 PASER road ratings. These ratings are conducted
annually and are the basis for prioritizing future road projects. Last year's discussion focused on
whether these ratings accurately represent what Scandia residents feel is an appropriate road
condition. We also discussed using an alternative road rating method involving AI and asking
the public to weigh in on the ratings and our future road project schedule.
Project Engineer Isiah Bubany will attend the meeting to discuss the AI road rating cost, time
frame, and Bolton & Menk’s Input ID software, which we can use to gauge public input. I want
to discuss the level of public input we are looking for, whether we only use the web-based
software to encourage participation, and whether the Committee is interested in hosting a public
input meeting.
I have attached several documents for us to review and discuss next week. The only one I cannot
find, but will have by the meeting on Tuesday, is the 2024 PASER Rating, so we can see if any
road ratings changed year over year.
