Tennis/Pickleball Court Project
Public Works has been informed the remaining work on the Tennis/ Pickleball Courts will be completed by the
end of May. The court surfacing will be completed prior to the remaining fence and court post and net system
installation. Once the fencing and nets are installed the courts will be allowed to be played on.
Concern over the cure time for the acrylic has been discussed with the contractor and finish work will be
completed within 48-72 of application. The product label states 24 hour cure time in specific conditions and
with not know exactly what the conditions will be at application the wait time listed has been recommended
by Public Works.
Planning for a June grand re -opening and setting a date mid -June would ideal even if we soft open the courts
prior to that without formal announcement or allowance of rentals during that time. This will allow PRC to
have one more planning meeting the first week of June for the official opening.
Lilleskogen Pavillion
Public Works has only received feedback from Vice Chair Zauner on the design and layout of the pavilion. Also,
Administer Morrell indicated last month the need to wait for an official fund balance review is necessary prior
to implementing capital improvement plans for the future. Once the fund balance is known it will be necessary
to discuss what amount of the remaining balance should be allocated to the construction of a pavilion or other
projects recommended by the committee.
