We worked with the contractor to identify cost-saving measures and phasing options in order to initiate construction this fall •Planning community planting and bench-building events to reduce landscaping costs •Changing parking lot from bituminous to gravel •Moving tiered amphitheater seating and wetland overlook decks to Phase 2 project (unless funds are raised before spring 2026) •Proscenium Stage at the amphitheater is a Phase 3 Project (was never been in scope for Phase 1) Presentation Template Design Fundraising Target for 2025/2026 $300,000 Fundraising Target If these funds are raised by spring 2026, it would allow us to add the tiered amphitheater seating and the wetland overlook decks back into Phase 1 Construction Presentation Template Design Legacy Naming Opportunities Do You Have Ideas? Presentation Template Design Request to City Council The Watershed District has indicated they will consider a waiver request for the Watershed permit –site includes a rain garden and stormwater pond. SHA would like to ask if the City will consider making this request to the Watershed District for the project. The request needs to come from the City.
