Re: Approve new hire change
Background:
Last work session the council approved 3 new hires with 2 names on an eligibility list. One of the applicants
Bryce Lindahl has decided that now is not a good time to proceed with the hiring process. So I am asking that
the council approve Ryan Zahn who is the next highest scoring applicant from the eligibility list.
Issue:
Should the council approve hiring Ryan Zahn?
Proposal Details:
Scandia Fire and Rescue would like to hire applicant Ryan conditional on passing Pre-Placement Medical Exam
and a Criminal background check
Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact would not change from the June 4th hiring report.
Options:
(1) Approve the conditional hiring of Ryan Zahn.
(2) Approve conditional hiring of a different candidate
(3) Not approve any change
Recommendation:
Option (1).
