NOTICE OF SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING TO CONDUCT SITE VISITS
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Scandia,
Washington County, Minnesota, will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July 1, 2025,
beginning at 6:00 p.m. to visit the sites and gather information concerning the following
requests that will come before the Commission at its July 1, 2025 regular meeting:
• Conditional Use Permit to allow for an additional 25% of total square footage of
accessory structure
Site Visit Location: 16801 205th Street Court North
Applicant: Joe Hansmann, Innovative Building & Design
On-site at 6:00 p.m.
Location is right after the first driveway on 205th Street; a white pickup will be
parked there
• Conditional Use Permit for an essential services utility substation
Site Visit Location: 18180 Manning Trail North
Applicant: Steven Martinez, Northern Natural Gas
On-site at 6:30 p.m.
Park on 180th Street near the existing substation on the south side of the road
This is an official Planning Commission meeting and is therefore open to the public. The
Planning Commissioners will meet at the site visit locations. Owners, applicants, and interested
parties are also invited to meet at the site.
