Hi Steve,
Thank you very much. We really appreciate it!
We'd love it if the city would consider a gift of $16,500 per year over three years, for a total of
$49,500. To date, the Scandia PTO has raised $50,000 to contribute to the playground. We are
planning to raise at least another $30,000 by next year as well.
We are also reaching out to the Scandia-Marine Lions and SEEF in addition to individuals. We
really are focused on utilizing the concept of a public, private partnership to make our
playground dreams a reality.
We are in the progress of also creating a longer, written narrative that explains more about the
details of the playground, mock up, the rationale for the project and more. We will
certainly share that when it is complete.
Donor recognition is important, and to that end, we have also included these levels for the
project that will be prominently recognized in the school's entrance:
35,000 45,000 Playground Champion
25,000 34,999 Legacy Builder
15,000 24,999 Dream Launcher
10,000 14,999 Memory Maker
5,000 9,999 Playground Friend
1,000 4,999 Community Builder
