INTERNET ACTION COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Thursday, August 21, 2025, 6:30 p.m.
Scandia Community Center, 14727 209th Street North
Attendance: Chair Bob Wilmers, Vice-Chair Patti Ray, John Carney, Will Perry, and Stephen Bradley
Also in Attendance: City Administrator Kyle Morell and Steve Kronmiller, Council Liaison.
Call to Order – Chair Wilmers called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Approval of Agenda – Motion by Ray, seconded by Perry, to approve the agenda. Motion carried 5-0.
Approval of Minutes –The July 17, 2025, meeting minutes were approved on a motion by Ray, seconded by
Carney. Motion Carried 5-0.
Public Comments – None
Midco Update
Staff shared an update from Midco on the progress of their 2025 construction projects and the planning for their
2026 project, which is the Scandia Border 2 Border grant.
Outreach to Infill Properties
The Committee reviewed a letter drafted to be sent to the remaining infill properties. Some changes to
the letter will be made. The City will also notify Midco of the letter and the address to which it is
sending it.
Scandia Community Fun Day
The event was a success. Midco counted 520 people who visited their booth, and the Farmer’s Market recorded
record attendance. All the story authors were present at the Park for the announcement of the winner. Staff will
work with Public Works to ensure the canopy is at City Hall before the event begins.
Website Review
Chair Wilmers provided the Committee with an update for the City’s website detailing the current
Midco grant. The update includes a map that shows the properties included in the project. The
Committee made some changes to the message but approved its addition to the City website.
Items for Future Discussion – The following items are scheduled for discussion at the next meeting.

Next Meeting—The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Scandia
Community Center.
