Roads and Right – of - way
Three winter events occurred in which staff de-iced the roads or plowed.
One of the events was a winter mix of rain, freezing rain, ice pellets and
snow.
Abrasives were added to Pilar Rd. and other gravel roads 4 times.
ROW clearing continued on Layton, Oxboro, Newgate, Lakamaga, Maxwill,
191st and 185th.
General maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
5 Fallen trees removal from the ROW – high winds
Patching: Oxboro, Oakhill, 228th, 191st, 238th, 1.5 ton of cold mix used
1 mailbox repair – mailbox height was below standards
Street light along Olinda damaged – investigation found no accident
records
Sewer – Water:
Sewer samples for February 2017 were taken - Bliss 3 and sumitted. DMR
submitted (discharge monitoring report) Amp testing on all systems.
18540 Layton – repairs to sewer baffle that was leaking water and soil
Pump one lift station one running higher than normal – General Repair
called for motor check
Uptown Monthly water meter readings were completed
Monthly Amp readings completed on Lift Stations
Two lift station alarms, and a power outage
Parks:
Vinter Fest cleaning – Hockey mat rolled up and stored; building cleaned up
Attended the Park Committee meeting
Plexi glass replacement – Log House Landing Sign
Rink Closed
Performed maintenance on skate board ramps
Other:
Monthly maintenance / safety checks done – emergency lights, fire
extinguishers, chains, hoist, ladders, eye wash stations and showers.
Replaced fridge with newer fridge at the Community Ctr. concession
kitchen area
Exit Safety light battery replaced Comm. Ctr. entrance
Safe Assure training for the staff – Stillwater PW
45 bulbs replaced in the kitchen, meeting rm. and Hall at the Comm. Ctr.
and recycled
Swedish flag replaced at the Historical landmark by Hay Lake Park and two
flag @ half-mast events
