Hi Kyle-
We are construction complete and service launched in our May Township project. We are currently
preparing our application for the Line Extension Round 4 grant with the OƯice of Broadband, I hope in the
coming weeks I will have some exciting news to share regarding a few addresses located in Scandia.
We are on track to get started with the Round 10 Border to Border grant in Scandia in the Spring of 2026.
Over the winter, our team will finalize the construction schedule and I’m sure they will be in touch with
your Public Works department to discuss that work that they are planning on. We are excited to get
started!
Finally, we are hoping to receive good news from NTIA and the OƯice of Broadband regarding our
preliminary awards for the BEAD program in the next few weeks. We did receive some preliminary awards
for locations in the Washington County area. Once the MN plan is approved from the NTIA then we can
move forward to the contract negotiation phase with the OƯice of Broadband. Once we have confirmed
contracts in place I will be in touch to share what impacts that may have for residents of Scandia!
