3. City Presentation on the Gateway Trail
4. Questions about the presentation
5. Public Comments (2-3 min per person, depending on how many people sign up to speak)
6. Next Steps (At the Dec 16th meeting, the Council will decide on awarding construction
contracts)
7. Adjournment
Ground rules:
1. Handouts:
a. Position statements (for and against the project) and all handouts should be
submitted by Dec 4, and be included in the meeting packet
b. No handouts are to be distributed inside the meeting room
c. All handouts are to clearly identify the author of the material
2. Audience:
a. Refrain from speaking unless you are at the microphone
b. Be respectful of everyone in the room (whether you agree with them or not)
c. If you want to speak, please sign up on the sheet at the door. We are hoping this
will help keep the meeting moving and ensure everyone who wants to speak gets
a chance to speak.
3. Speakers:
a. When called on to speak, please approach the microphone; state your name and
home address before speaking
b. Speakers should address all comments to the Mayor and Council (not the
audience or other agencies in attendance)
c. Speakers should refrain from restating a position stated by any previous speaker
