Deadline/Timeline: N/A
Background: • The Site Visit Guidelines were adopted in 2007 to establish
procedures for conducting group visits to sites of issues or

ensure that such visits are properly noticed public meetings as
required by law.
• It has been almost 4 years since this document was adopted. It
may be out of date or not fully reflect the wishes of the current
Commission.
• The Commission discussed the Guidelines at its April 5 meeting
and asked for changes to be incorporated into a draft for
consideration at the May 3 meeting.

changes, make any additional desired edits, and adopt the revised Site
