Dear City Council and Mayor,
It is my understanding the City, just like Carnelian Marine St. Croix Watershed District (WD) is required by law
to implement reasonable and wise development that protects our resources and our citizens. This
amendment and some more recent ones seem to demonstrate an unwillingness to uphold your
responsibilities. I would like to strongly urge you to table this action and work with the WD to work through
some of the inconsistencies of rules and how they are implemented by both governmental bodies.
Thank you for considering my request. I am a Board Member of the WD and speaking as a citizen of Scandia
and I am not speaking on behalf of the WD or for the Board.
