Re: 2026 Crack Fill & Seal Coat Project
Request to Authorize Preparation of Plans and Specifications
Dear Mayor and Council:
As part of the pavement management plan and in coordination with City Staff, we request the
City Council authorize preparation of plans and specifications for the 2026 Crack Fill & Seal Coat
Project.
The streets requested to receive this work by the City require a budget of $95,000.00. The
extents of the project are shown on the attached location plan. Project limits will be reviewed
for expansion if favorable bids are received.
The anticipated project schedule is as follows:
Authorize Preparation of Plans & Specifications February 17, 2026
Approve Plans & Specifications/Authorize Ad for Bid March 17, 2026
Bid Opening April 15, 2026
Consider Contract Award at City Council Meeting April 21, 2026
Construction May - August 2026
