April 16, 2026
A Special Meeting of the Scandia City Council was held on the above date in the Scandia
Community Center City Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting was to interview
applicants for the open Carnelian Marine Sanit Croix Watershed Board seats.
Mayor Steve Kronmiller called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The following were in
attendance: Councilmembers Jim Gribble and Kirsten Libb, and Mayor Steve Kronmiller.
Councilmember Mike Lubke attended over Zoom. Absent: Councilmember Jerry Cusick. Staff
present: City Administrator Kyle Morell
INTERVIEW APPLICANTS FOR WATERSHED BOARD VACANCIES
Interviews were conducted with Eric Boyles, Sam DiVita, Kimberly Hough, and Mark Marotzke.
The Washington County Board of Commissioners makes the final appointment to the Watershed
Board. The City Council interviewed candidates to determine which candidate would receive a
recommendation from the Council.
The Council agreed that all applicants would make good additions to the watershed board and
hopes that the interview process with the City helped prepare them for the upcoming County
interviews
Kronmiller, seconded by Lubke, moved to recommend that all candidates be advanced to the
County Board. Motion Carried 4-0.
ADJOURNMENT
Kronmiller, seconded by Gribble, moved to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
The meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
