07.d Story - The ranch save The ranch save
I'm Emily or as some people call me Emma. I live on a big ranch with
cattle, sheep, horses, and chicken. We have a lot of smart home stuff. I
have a big family. I have six people in my family. Bella is the youngest
sister I have. She's only one. Peter is my youngest brother. He is one.
Peter and Bella are twins as you can probably tell. Then it goes on to
the middle child Vivian. She is six. Next there is the oldest Emily or
me. I am Ten. Last is my Morn and Dad. And I don't know how old
they are.
"Emily, please do the dishes," Mom said nicely.
"Mom, can't I do my riding lessons today?" I said crossly.
"Fine, let's go". Morn said and rolled her eyes thinking I couldn't see
her do it. There is a rule in our house that if someone sees you rolling
your eyes you have to do chores for one whole month. Thankfully
today was my last day doing it.
"Everyone, including Peter, has to come do horseback riding lessons"
Mom yelled up the stairs.
"Wait" said Alexa.
"There is a tornado on its way".
"Emma get the farm animals in the barn and get down to the bunker"
yelled mom. I ran and got the farm animals in the barn and ran to the
bunker. The wind howled and the tree shook as I ran to the bunker. I
got inside and my family hugged me.
"Thank you, that is a very scary thing to do". When the tornado
stopped we went inside.
"Thank you Alexa for saving us".
"You're welcome," she replied. From that day on we always rely on
Alexa for checking the weather.
