Subject: August 3 and September 2, 2026, City Council Work Sessions
The Scandia Heritage Alliance Levitt Music series begins the night of August 3 rd. As you will see
from their presentation, the parking lot will not be accessible after 5:00 p.m. that evening. The
music series runs through Wednesday, September 2, which is also a work session meeting night. In
an effort to avoid conflict with the music series, Staff suggests moving the August and September
work sessions to the first Thursday of each month. As always, the meetings will be held if needed.
If the Council agrees with the suggested date change for the meetings, staff recommends that a
motion be made to approve it.
