Subject: 2027 Draft Preliminary Budget Update
The table below shows the minor modifications made to the budget since it was presented at
last month's work session. The net levy has been reduced by $24,079, bringing the percentage
increase over 2026 to 6.31%, slightly below the previously presented figure.
I decided to present the budget update in this manner since a complete presentation will be
made at the September Council meeting, where Council will be asked to set its 2027
preliminary levy.
