August 18, 2026
The Scandia City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date in the Scandia Community
Center City Council Chambers. The meeting was held to interview applicants for the open Parks
and Recreation Committee seat.
Mayor Steve Kronmiller called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. In attendance were
Councilmembers Jim Gribble and Kirsten Libby, Jerry Cusick, and Mayor Steve Kronmiller.
Absent: Councilmember Mike Lubke. Staff present: City Administrator Kyle Morell
INTERVIEW APPLICANT FOR PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE OPENING
The Council interviewed Patricia Ray, who explained her qualifications for a seat on the Parks
and Recreation Committee. Mayor Kronmiller explained the open seat is due for reappointment
in February of 2027, and recommended any appointment be for the remainder of the current term
and the next 5-year term.
Libby, seconded by Gribble, moved to appoint Patricia Ray to the Parks and Recreation
Committee. Motion was approved unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
Gribble, seconded by Cusick, moved to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
The meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
