Re: 2018 General Fund Parks budget
Background: The City's budget process will begin in earnest in June with the budget overview being
presented to the Council at the August work session. This is the opportunity for the Committee to
provide recommendation on the operating budget that can be incorporated into the budget
overview. The primary focus should be on programmatic changes (ex. — added recreational
programs or changes to the maintenance schedules). Once the programmatic changes are
identified, the Committee will need to work with Adam to assess the financial impacts on the
budget.
I have provided the budget spreadsheet that has information on prior years expenditures and
budgets.
