After a suggestion by Administrator Soltis, an approach that sync's up with the original park plan will be
brought forward on August 7. The 2008 plan for the area includes calls for low height plants as a border
along the parking lot. The list on the plan is Ohio Spiderwort, June Grass, Butterfly Weed, Lupine, Prairie
Dropseed, and Skyblue Aster.
Capital Improvement Committee
The CIP committee completed its work on July 20, where it reviewed the draft plan. The plan will be
discussed at the city council August 2, 2017 city council work session.
Taco Daze event
Information and registration for the September 9t" Taco Daze Pickleball tournament are now on the
Scandia Website and Facebook page.
The tennis courts immediately adjacent to the community center have been marked for pickleball.
