Engineering
• 2017 Seal Coat Project
All work has been completed including final sweeping and re-striping.
Contractor obtaining final documents for project closeout and anticipate having
final payment approval on the December 19th City Council agenda.
• 2017 Spray Patching Project
All work has been completed other than some material that needs to be
removed from the ditch area before final payment will be executed. Anticipate
the final payment and required closeout documentation will be ready for the
December 19th City Council agenda.
• Comprehensive Plan Update

There was an open house held on October 24th. Approximately 25 people
attended to take the opportunity to review the community designation, goals
and more detailed maps.
We are currently drafting the text of the Comprehensive Plan and will begin
distributing chapters for review in December.
• Washington County
CR 52 between TH 95 and Hwy 97 and CSAH 3 between County border and CSAH
4 construction plans are in design development for 2018 construction.
• Will discuss potential trail re-alignment at the meeting (see Figure 1 &
construction estimate below)
• Miscellaneous
2018 Street Project
• Gopher State One Call (GSOC) has been completed. This requires the
private utilities to be marked. Field survey work is underway.
Washington County prepares a five-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The
2018-2022 CIP includes the county's tentative plans for roads, bridges, parks,
land, trails, and public facilities. The first year of this plan is included in the
county's proposed 2018 budget. The “out-years” of 2019-2022 reflect projected
needs and estimated costs, which may change based on future priorities and
funding opportunities. Comments must be received in writing no later than
November 22nd, 2017 to be considered when developing the final CIP. A public
hearing will be held on December 12th, 2017 prior to adopting the final
