To us at Festival Theatre, Art In Action
means empowering kids to take ownership of
the creative process and put it into action! Art
is something you DO, not something you
make. When art is an action, mistakes are less
scary and we're free to learn and HAVE FUN!
At Camp, kids will....
Create, rehearse and perform in an original
short play
Design and paint
Create characters design costumes
Choreograph a dance
Learn what makes for good stories
Explore and experiment with the 3 actor
tools: the voice, the body, and the
imagination
Collaborate, collaborate, collaborate
Perform their play for a live audience of
family and friends!!
