5.a) Chair ReportThe pyrotechnic who is going to do the fireworks was at the meeting with
Corey. They drove by the South Ball field to check it out. He didn't
think it had enough clear area for the fireworks. The Council approved
the fireworks application providing he and Scandia Fire Chief Mike Hinz
find an acceptable location.
They approved our ice skating programs and the sign-up sheet flyer to be
handed out to students. They approved Katy getting 80% of the
registration fees. They did not approve (or even vote on) the remaining
20% go to Lilleskogen. Kristina indicated it basically covers expenses
for Judi to set up the program etc. She did say it could be brought up
at the Dec 3 budget meeting.
