PW Staff report - Parks:
Meeting date: April 2, 2018
➢ Monthly safety checks done on playgrounds
➢ Rink — done for the year - New net arrived for the NE corner to be
installed next year and only up for hockey season
➢ Lilleskogen Park —STS — continued buckthorn removal — hauling out
the brush —2 more days in March completed — 3 more days in April
slated
➢ WIP — Council will be making some decisions on fencing near the
property line and possible parking lot closure
➢ Staff is putting out RFQ for the surfacing, painting, and post
installation for cost estimates to get to the next council session
➢ Pruning of trees in the Lighted field park area, the playground at the
lighted field, Hay Lake, City Hall rink area / parking lot, and WIP
access road into the park — working on Tennis court area and South
ball field next.
