Hi- I got this from the Mayor yesterday. I'll amend agenda to add to new business. Clearly too late for the info packet
but if we can display this email and picture it would be helpful.
Thanks

Happy to bring it up. Can you describe a little more where you are thinking to do this? Perhaps in the area of the
recreational skating area, if that can be shared winter / summer? Or near the tennis courts?
I found this at raindeck.com"
What is a Splash Pad /Splash Park?
Splash pads are safe, affordable, recreational, zero -depth water attractions that can be installed anywhere
including residential backyards, child care facilities (day cares, preschools, summer camps, church camps, etc.),
RV parks/ campgrounds, HOA community parks, apartment multi family complexes, hotels, destination resorts,
amusement parks, city parks, and more. Splash pads will typically consist of multiple spray jets, and/or above
ground spray features. A splash pad can operate on afresh water system, a grey water system, or a recirculation
system.

Hello Terry,
Could you bring up to the PRC the idea of a Splash Pad somewhere in the community center area?
That area is so well used in the winter with the skating rink and snow piles, it would be wonderful to provide a reason
for gathering there in the warm months. Also, I keep trying to find a way to connect the downtown to the our eastern
border - the St. Croix. We are not lucky enough to have a waterfall in our center; had thought of the possibility of a
fountain, but perhaps a Splash Pad would be even better.
Is it possible this would fit into your park planning?
Happy Easter to you and Colleen.
Christine
