8.f April Public Works ReportMay 15th, 2018 Public Works Staff Report – March 2018 Roads and Right – of – way  ROW Brush clearing – 181st, 182nd, Maple, W/ Tractor brushing head – Trimming around ballfields, play areas, and City Hall by hand  ROW - 1 dead deer removal  ROW – 2 - trees on road calls  ROW – sod damage - 5 calls – basic repairs done  Snow – 3 – full scale plows 17” total snow plowed ; Blew and broomed walks  Gravel roads: Grading began on Pillar and Old Marine/ 185th  Patching – 230th, 228th, 199th, Oxboro, Oakhill, Mayberry, Meadowbrook  Snow plowing – 4-15,16,17-18; 17” total snow accumulation \ 4-26-18; Plows summarized and put away for the year.  Brush pile burning x 2 Sewer – Water:  April ‘18 - sewer samples were taken at Bliss  201 – March monthly DMR completed and Quarterly, Ground water samples taken  Pump readings  Washington Co. sewer report completed  SSTS – Training for Jeff – for the mound septic systems  Uptown - Monthly water meter readings completed  201 – 4 alarms – 1- power loss lift #2, 3 – power losses lift #3 – Gopher chewed through the power service – Our electrician had to service.  12 Gopher One call requests Parks:  Monthly safety checks done on playgrounds  Working on additional trail signage for WIP Preserve  Hockey mats rolled up and stored  Dragging Ballfields  Skate Park equipment out Other:  New light battery Fire station  Drinking fountain-maintained Fire station  New garage door safety switches – 1- PW, 1- Fire station, 1 – door cable PW - contracted  Chairs fixed - City Hall council chambers  Council work station repairs  Repairs being made to the tandem – wing broken  Grader used to plow snow on gravel roads during the 17’snow fall – 250 gallons of fuel used  Monthly building checks
