Subject: Proposed BMX Park
Hello,
I am writing about the proposed BMX Park that has been brought to my attention. I live in the very
nearby neighborhood and I'm very opposed to this plan. I think a regular playground would make
sense in this neighborhood as there are no playgrounds within walking distance. However my main
concern with this is the fact that this park would in fact attract a teenage population into an
otherwise quiet neighborhood with many very young children. The reason people move to this
community is for the "country like feel" my husband and I would be very disappointed in this idea
going through. Also consider the population you are attracting to our neighborhood and the
possible consequences that would disrupt our peaceful community. Please do not change what we
love about our surroundings.

Hi Judi,
Thanks for sending out the proposal for the BMX park. I wanted to provide my feedback since I may not be able to make
to the meeting. I am a new resident to this community and it has been great out here. It is a quiet and peaceful
neighborhood and community. This country setting is exactly what we were looking for and enjoy about this
community. This is why I am really opposed to this proposal. My assumption would be the community out here has
similar thoughts. Hopefully this feedback helps and an alternative plan can move forward. Thanks again for sending this
out and for all the great work the Parks committee does for the community.
