Roads and Right – of – way
Mowing – Started – the last week of May
Culvert cleaning on Layton and Larkspur; 3 - culverts cleared – two -
along Meadow Brook, one on 189th; 1 – culvert replaced along
Pennfield Ave. N.
Collapsed Culvert – 228th – urgent repairs
1 dead animal removal – 1 chair removal from ditch
2 - trees on road calls – 2 more addressed when noted – 1 called in
after cleared from the road by resident – Staff picked up debris
Pruning around signs – Meadow Brook, Mayberry, Lofton – ROW
pruning amur maples – Lofton Ct.
Sign repairs – 202nd of Manning Tr., Mayberry and 205th – curve ahead
sign
Replacement street signs for 2018 road project ordered
Roads with curbs swept, City Hall parking lot swept
Gravel roads: Final Grading – Pillar, Old Marine,185th - Dust control
applied – grading on Novak and Oak Hill Way – Gravel added to Novak
197th St.- re-graded road, seeded ROW, cleared culverts
LHL/205th – Re-shaped / sifted rock dams, graded the roads in the area
Patching – Nolan – muskrat tunneling, Oakhill, 191st, Oldfield,
Maxwill, 240th and Olinda
Sewer – Water:
May ‘18 - sewer samples were taken at Bliss
201 – May monthly DMR completed
Pump readings
Washington Co. sewer report completed
Uptown - Monthly water meter readings completed
Uptown – ECO POD media replaced
201 – Small leak in valve box #2 – Pump out once a week into the
tank – Permanent repairs are being evaluated
Repairs to broken vent pipes at mound systems – AE, Bliss, Uptown
45 Gopher One call requests
Parks:
Monthly safety checks done on playgrounds
WIP – New signs up note where on the trail they are located, mowed
the walk lanes – 2 times – mower broke down ½ through second time
Tennis court – we are on their schedule – Pre-con meeting with them
soon – Nets set for play until construction starts
Goose Lake – aerator and buoys removed and stored
Lilleskogen – drain uncovered for rain garden outlet
- Rain garden re mulched and weeded
- Pond outlet control accessed and checked
Monument – Weeded and mowed / weed whipped twice
Hay Lake – Mowed twice and pruning of dead branches
Park Board Committee outing to review parks
Graffiti removal X2 at LH Landing – Invasive species DNR sign
tagged – sign removed after the second time.
Ballfields – dragged each day there is scheduled play – now mowing
about every 3rd day.
No Part – time help yet – Job Connections in Forest Lake contacted –
let them know we are hiring and where to find the listing

Large Refrigerator in Comm. Ctr. Kitchen stopped running – replaced
