In response to your request, we have prepared a scope and fee for the work to conduct a study including
the tasks shown below to determine the feasibility of a community drain field system serving the area as
outlined in the attachment.
We propose to complete the following tasks:
• Using available LIDAR information, review the existing topography and identify the potential
limits of the service area.
• Review infrastructure needs including the extents of gravity sewer, lift stations and drain field
location.
• Calculate flows to determine the needed capacity of the system based on future land uses.
• Prepare preliminary cost estimate for the ultimate system.
• Prepare figures repesenting a general layout of the proposed system.
Fees
We estimate the cost to complete the above described work to be $8,900.00. We propose to bill the City
on an hourly basis with a not to exceed limit. This estimate does not include any on-site field
investigation work to be performed at this time.
Thank you for the opportunity to submit this proposal, if you have any questions please feel free to
contact me.
Sincerely,
