Deadline/ Timeline: N/A Background: • Scandia resident Diane Herman, who is also a part-time resident of the condominium building, has offered six used metal, commercial-type picnic tables to the City of Scandia. 'They are replacing their outdoor furnishings and want to dispose of the tables by June 2. • The City would be responsible for moving the tables from their current location. Members of The Friends of the Parks and the Park and Recreation Committee have offered to help with this. • The final location of the tables would be determined later; the Park and Recreation Committee will make recommendations at a future meeting. Recommendation: I recommend that the Council accept the donation.
