Action Requested: Approve Tobacco Products Sales Licenses for 2010or:
1) Scandia Store & Deli
2) AJL Enterprises dba Scandia Olde Towne Liquor
3) Big Marine Lake Liquor Store
4) Big Marine Lake Store
Deadline/Timeline: License period begins on January 1, 2010 and ends on December 31,
2010
Background: • The applications meet all the requirements of Ordinance No. 92
regulating the sale and use of tobacco products. License fees have
been paid.
• The Washington County SherifPs Dept. conducts compliance
checks on behalf of the City. There were no failures at these
businesses in 2009, and the Sherriff's office found no reasons not
to renew the licenses.
Recommendation: I recommend that the Council approve the licenses.
