Deputy Cleric Brenda Eklund called the Town Board meeting to order. The following Board
members were present: Michael Harnetty, Blair Joselyn, Nancy Madden and Dennis Seefeldt
Michael Hinz was absent.
The first order of business was to elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the year of 2006.
Dennis Seefeldt was elected Chairman and Mike Hinz was elected Vice Chairman.
UPDATE ON COMMUNITY RESIDENCES
Pam Anderson presented a summary of talks and further research that is ongoing with the
Minnesota State Licensing Agency, and the progress of a legislative bill. Ms. Anderson pointed
out that Community Living Options has a -history of serving high risk individuals. Currently there
are two female residents living in the group home on Gland Avenue, along with a 24 hour staff,
although no license has been issued from Washington County. The issue of parking around this
home was also discussed. At times, neighbors have observed as many as twelve cars outside the
OIand residence, with many being parked along the street. Deputy Howard will be asked to
monitor the parking situation. Subsequent meetings with Washington County Community
Services and the MN State Licensing Department will be attended by Supervisor Harnetty.
RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF LIQUOR AT SCANDIA CREAMERY
Nancy Madden made a motion to approve Resolution 0404-06-01 Approving the Issuance
of a Washington County On -Sale Liquor License to the Scandia Creamery, LLC, 21279
Olinda Trail. Blair Joselyn seconded the motion and motion passed.
BURIED CABLE AGREEMENTS WITH FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS
Michael Harnetty made a motion to approve the .Buried Telephone Cable Application with
Frontier Communications located at Old Marine Trail and Parade Avenue, and also at
Manning Trail and 185t" Street. Nancy Madden seconded the motion and motion passed.
Steven Kronmiller?s term of office on the Carnelian -Marine Watershed will expire on ,Tune 21,
2006. The 'Town Board may submit nominations to the Washington County Board 60 days prior
to expiration of term.
Nancy Madden made a motion to notify Washington County to consider Steven Kronmiller
for reappointment to the Carnelian -Marine Watershed, pending Mr. Kronmiller's interest.
Blair Joselyn seconded the motion and motion passed.
LICENSE TO WASHINGTON COUNTY TO USE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM
Michael Harnetty made a motion to approve the License to Washington County to Use Real
Property for the Household Hazardous Waste Program on April 29, 2006 to be held in the
Scandia Community Center parking lot. Blair Joselyn seconded the motion and motion
passed.
LORI GORDON-RESIGNATION FROM PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE
Blair Joselyn made:a motion to accept the letter of resignation from Park and Recreation
Committee member Lori Gordon. Nancy Madden seconded the motion and motion passed.

JOSEPH CHILDEHS
On the matter of Joseph Childers having two homes on one lot, Mr. Childers is now in
compliance of having an accessory structure within the maximum square footage allowed for his
lot. Supervisors Dennis Seefeldt and Michael Harnetty, along with Town Attorney Dave Hebert,
will draw up a revised agreement of a reduced band level.
CLEARING OF LIONS PARK
David Smith, member of Park and Recreation, presented to the Board a summary of clean-up
efforts in the Lions Park undertaken by Mike White in the previous four months. Current piles of
wood chips surrounding large pine trees need to be removed before the ground thaws, as leaving
the chips covering the root collars of the trees would cause the trees to die. Public Works
personnel will be given the job of spreading the chips away from the drip lines of the trees.
Discussion also addressed the removal of the remaining tree stumps. Supervisor Dennis Seefeldt
will contact Dan Sandager to get his recommendations fora plan to revitalize this area.
Supervisor Nancy Madden, David Smith and Alex Bildeaux will be involved on this committee.
Nancy Madden made a motion to adjourn the meeting and meeting adjourned.
