5-18-05 wkshMay 18; 2005 On the above date New Scandia Town Board and Planning Commission held a workshop to review issues on the Development Code. The Town Board Members were in attendance: Chairman Dennis Seefeldt, Vice Chairman Michael Hinz, Blair Joselyn, Michael Harnetty and Nancy Madden. The following Planning Commission Members were also in attendance: Chairman Chris, Vice Chairman James Malmquist, Kevin Nickelson, Peter Schwarz and Donnette Yehle. The following is a list of items reviewed: 1) Accessory structures within 6 feet of the principal structure Section 9.2 (1) (B); 2) Certificate of Compliance requirement for agricultural accessory structure over 1,000 square feet in size Section 9.2; (3 Define agricultural accessory buildings. Section 2, Chapter 1,(7); 4) Preservation of historic buildings/barns Section 2, of Chapter 1, (113); 5) Number of vehicles kept or stored outside a building in agriculture zone Section 9.4 of Chapter 2 6) Feed lots/factory farms Section 1018 of Chapter 2; 7) Cluster Development Section 12.9 of Chapter 2, (3); 8) Screening and landscaping Section 9.11 of Chapter 2, (F) over -story trees and under -story trees; 9) Architectural Committee review of retail and general business: 10) Signs Section 9.2 of Chapter 2 garage signs and removal of signs; l l) Engine Braking Ordinance; 12) Firing Range; 13) Adult Entertaiment. Dennis Seefeldt suggested that one (1), two (2), five (5), seven (7) and eleven (11) should be included for a Public Hearing to. be held on June 7, 2005 at the Planning Commission. meeting.
