5-3-05 tbMay 3, 2005 New Scandia Town Board held their regular monthly meeting on this date. New Scandia Town Board Chairman called the meeting to order. In attendance were Chairman Dennis Seefeldt, Michael Harnetty, Blair Joselyn, and Nancy Madden. Vice Chairman. Michael Hinz was absent. JERRY CUSICK/GREG ISAACSON ISSUES WITH TENNIS COURT Mr. Cusick and Mr. Isaacson expressed the need to resurface the tennis courts by the Community Center. 'They both stated that the courts are not playable. Bonestro Engineering had reviewed the quotes for the resurfacing and they stated the quote from C & H Sport Surfaces, Inc. was favorable and recommend approving the bid. Dennis Seefeldt made a motion to accept the bid from C & H Sports, Inc. in the amount of $4800.00.and the payment shall be funded from the Capital Improvement Fund. Nancy Madden seconded the motion. Michael Harnetty yes, Nancy Madden yes, Dennis Seefeldt yes, and Blair Joselyn abstained. Motion adopted. Mr. Jerry Cusick presented an Engine Braking Ordinance and asked the Township to review the possibility of adopting this ordinance. Blair Joselyn made a motion to approve the Certificate of Compliance for James Schneider for Bar/Restaurant in the Hawkinson Business Park with the following additions to the application: (1 A stop sign. shall be installed at the exist of Ozark Court entering Ozark Avenue; (2 If any of the required trees and shrubs die, they must be replaced and maintained in accordance with the Landscape Plan. Michael Harnetty seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. KEITH GREENWALDT/CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE Nancy Madden made a motion to approve the Certificate of Compliance for Keith Greenwaldt in Hawksinson Business Park for landscape products with the addition of the following: (1 Installation of a gate to match the fence. Michael Harnetty seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. XCEL ENGEGY/THE SANCTUARY Michael Harnetty made a motion to approve the installation of utilities by Xcel Energy for the Plat of The Sanctuary.
