New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting.
Members, Jackson, Hawkinson, Ostlund, Pratt and Nordin were present
of the Town Board.
Richard Eisenreich
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the
Conditional Use Permit for Richard Eisenreich 21420 St. Croix Trail,
Scandia, Mn. To operate a Bed and Breakfast for one year. Hawkinson
made a motion to accept, with the addition_ if, this is not in operation
this year it will not be renewable. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Harold Berglund
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant variances
to Harold Berglund, 539 Blair Ave. St. Paul, Mn. 55103. Lot 10
Anderson Big Lake View Addition. Contingent verification that
deck is 100 ft. from the high water mark by survery. With the
following variances: Lot size 12 acres to approximately 15,000 sq. ft.
Lake Frontage 150 ft. to 50 ft. Road frontage 150 ft. to 50 ft.
The old screen house on the property must be removed. Pratt made a
motion to accept, Hawkinson seconded. There was discussion by the
board with concerns for the addition. Pratt aye, Hawkinson aye,
Jackson aye, Ostlund no and Nordin no. Motion carried and adopted.
Gregory Young
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the
variance to Gregory Yound, 23200 Manning Trail, Scandia, Mn. 55073.
E2 of SE -14 of SW -14 Section 6, Township 32, Range 20 West. Sideyard
setback 25 ft. to 10 ft. This is the only to ical place -to construct
a garage. The garage shall be placed as shown on the drawing
presentated October 3, 1989. Nordin made a motion to accept and
Pratt seconded and adopted.
Jason Mailand Property on Sand Lake "Charles Fish"
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board that Ordinance No. 25
be applied to the Jason Mailand property on Sand Lake. Hawkinson
made a motion to accept, Ostlund seconded and adopted.
