The Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting.
Members of the Town Board present were: Russell Jackson,
Beverly Pratt, Charles Nordin, Kenneth Ostlund and Howard
Hawkinson.
Richard Larkey Rezone
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to deny the
rezone request from Agricultural to Residential R-1 for Richard
Larkey 20620 Olinda Trail, Marine, MN 55047. Lot 41 County
Auditors Plat No. 6.
1. This is not consistent with the Comprenshive Plan.
2. It is not in the public interest to rezone this
property, because this is spot zoning.
3. This would set a precedent for future rezoning applicants.
4. This property can be adaquately developed in the
5 acres allowed.
Pratt made a motion to accept. Ostlund seconded. With the
addition the Comprenshive Plan should be reviewed and review
the zoning in New Scandia Township. Ostlund, Nordin, Pratt and
Hawkinson aye. Jackson no. Motion adopted.
Review the Comprenshive Plan
Pratt made a motion to review the Comprenshive Plan within the
next two months. Hawkinson seconded and adopted.
Deed Stamp for Gordon Rydeen and David Manthey
Ostlund made a motion to stamp the deed for Gordon Rydeen and
Judy Rydeen to David Manthey. The NW4 of NW4 of Section 35,
Township 32, Range 20 West. Hawkinson seconded and adopted.
