The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman
Russell Jackson. Members present: Beverly Pratt, Kevin Nickelson,
Kenneth Ostlund, Charles Nordin and Russell Jackson.
Nordin made a motion to accept minutes from 9/18/90. Nickelson
seconded and adopted. Pratt made a motion to accept treasurers
report. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Mr. Charles Nordin was elected Vice Chairman by ballot.
Bracht Pit
David Hebert presentated a bond for Bracht Pit. Ostlund made
a motion to accept the bond from Bracht Pit Inc. in the amount
of $90,000.00 and issue the permit to March 1, 1991. Pratt
seconded and adopted.
Outlot Lot A Lake Sylvan Addition
Mr.Mr. Hebert reported a deed was never provided by Mr. Pagel
for Outlot A in Lake Sylvan Addition. This piece of property
has been used for a turn around by the township. Mr. Hebert
would contact Mr. Pagel about this matter as this was to
be dedicated to the township when the plat was accepted.
Will Eginton
Pratt made a motion to hire Lindell Excavating to remove tanks
and fill in with site dirt and rock. The pipe removed to
the driveway and they shall not distrub the creek. Ostlund
seconded and adopted.
Parks and Recreation Committee
The committee have viewed the township accesses and recommended
to sell the smaller pieces of property. Mr. Hebert informed
the committee some are tax forfeited property and the township
obtained title from the State and the town would not be able
to sell these. The smaller parcels in plats would have to be
reverted to adjoining property owners.
Stop Signs and Dead End Signs
Pratt made a motion to install a dead end sign on Pennfield
Ave. Ostlund seconded and adopted.
Nordin made a motion to install a stop sign and stop ahead
at Meadowbrook and Mayberry. Nickelson seconded and adopted.
Insulation for Maintenance Garage
Ostlund made a motion to reconsider the motion on the insulation
and that the insulation be delayed on the maintenance garage
until next summer. Nickelson seconded and adopted.

Long Range Planning For Township Roads & Job Descriptions
A date for Long Range Planning for township roads was set
for October 22, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. A date to prepare job
descriptions for township employees was set for October
29, 1990 at 7:30 p.m.
Maxwill Avenue Road Construction
The board informed the clerk to hold the check for Jim
Stevens Construction for Maxwill Avenue. the board would
view the road on Saturday October 27, 1990 and also view
Mr. Harry Nora's property on Lakamaga.

Ostlund made a motion to approve change order for Oren Road
and approve payment of $43,888.60. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Resoultion Regarding Property Splits
Pratt made a motion to adopt the resoultion for property
splits as corrected. Nickelson seconded and adopted.
Pratt made a motion to amend the Subdivision Ordinance to conform
to the resoultion. Mr. Hebert will draft the amendment. Nickelson
seconded and adopted.
Sealing BiR Lake School Well
Nickelson made a motion to seal well on Big Lake School property
and apply for a grant through Washington County Health Department.
Pratt seconded and adopted.
Oldfield Avenue
Ostlund made a motion to limerock Oldfield Avenue north of
Oakhill Road to the dead end. Nickelson seconded and adopted.
Outlot E Goose Lake Woods
Pratt made a motion to offer Outlot E in Goose Lake Woods Plat
to Mr. Howard Hawkinson for $22,000.00. The lot is odd shaped,
but buildable. This is below the apprasial, but the township
will benefit as this would make Mr. Hawk.inson's plat a more
pleasing plat and laid out plat. This would enhance the plat
and increase the tax base on the rest of the plat. This
would eleminate a turn around and the township would have
less maintenance. Nickelson seconded. Pratt, Nickelson,
Jackson voted yes. Nordin and Ostlund opposed. Motion
adopted.
Mr. Hawkinson sated he would not purchase the lot for the amount
of $22,000.00.
Pratt made a motion to move on the preceding motion to offer
this property for $20,000.00 and the same reasons stand.
Nordin seconded and adopted.
Pratt made a motion to pay bills for the month, but to hold
the check for Maxwill Avenue road construction and adjourn the
October meeting. Ostlund seconded and adopted.
