11-13-90 tb,pc138 November 13, 1990 On the above date New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting. Members present from the Town Board were: Russell Jackson, Beverly Pratt, Charles Nordin, Kevin Nickelson and Kenneth Ostlund. Thomas Schweitzer Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant a Conditional Use Permit to applicant, Thomas Schweitzer 13450 188th Street, Marine, Mn 55047 and owner Scandia Four 18911 Newgate, Marine, Mn. 55047. Lot 1, Block 1, Hawkinson Business Park. To operate a pizzaria and the permit be renewable in one year. Pratt made a motion to accept. Nordin seconded the motion and motion carried. David and Cris Nickelson ( Nickelson Plastics) A public hearing was held to consider rezone of the following described property. The North 410.36 feet of Lot 2 County Auditors Plat No. 6 and the E. 407.00 feet of said Lot 2 County Auditors Plat No. 6, The hearing was tabled to December 4, 1990 Planning Commission meeting. Charles Wilke Mr. Wilke presentated a revised application of 100 feet to 51 feet lake setback and 40 feet to 20 feet road setback. It was agreed to amend the variances and the board would take action when the town board receives a letter from Dennis O'Donnell verifying the proof of installation of a septic system and a letter from Mrs. Drewlo stating she is not opposed to the sideyard setback. Wavne Schmitt Postoffice Mr. Schmitt submitted plans for an additon to the posy office. Mr. Schmitt stated that most of citizens would prefer the post office in the existing location .
